How long are emails in Spam and Trash folders kept?
You don’t need to worry about old emails in Spam and Trash folders taking too much disk space: all emails in Spam and Trash folders, that are older than 30 days, are deleted automatically.
If you wish to keep some email for longer, just open it, click More and choose to Move to any other inbox:
You can also delete emails from these folders manually any time, just click on the email and choose Delete:
